March 19, 2017

Just 10 weeks after he began his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey at Team Link in Northampton Ma, Treydon Jenkins decided to test himself in the competition world. On Sunday March 19th, 2017 Trey stepped onto the AMMO competition mats for the first time. After 8 matches, he had won the gold belt in his gi division and he took the silver in no-gi. Two of his submission wins came by an armbar and a kimura. Coach Gary Alvarez Jr said "He fought great. His demeanor was great to watch. In both his wins and his losses, it was great to see".
